This is one long record take (with small intro) what we did on the last day of our American roadtrip. Most people talk about food. Funny isn’t it? Continue Reading →
What can I say, time is running fast when you have a nice time. Last 5 days I was on the road with my fellow students. San Francisco – Las Vegas – Grand Canyon – Hollywood – Santa Barbara was the main points on our map. A lots of pictures and videos ware taken during this trip and now they are somewhere in my HDD. But now its about that time when my American trip is about to end soon. I am spending last days in San Francisco in hostel. My 27 birthday is coming after 2 days and according to my schedule I will spend this day in the air, because I am flying home!
More updates coming soon!
Took my new Canon 50 mm F1.4 lens for a spin and made some pixels while we were filming interviews on the top of Corona heights.
In Latvian language we have saying “what comes long time, comes good” and my roadtrip video is finally here. There wasn’t that much time as I would like to film on the road because of our tight time-plan. We had to keep rolling, but in the same time we were filming with Panasonic TM700, Canon 550d, using mics and a GoPro outside/inside the car to make it interesting. So enjoy!
Around 600 people came to Sencha conference 2011, witch took place in Hilton hotel in Austin, TX to learn latest mobile application developments.
It was a long ride and when I was not driving the car I was trying to sleep in my passenger seat, but when Latvian boy saw this American nature outside the car window, he could not sleep at all. So here are some pictures of American nature and of course my foto-models Albert and Ragga!
Hi my reader! It’s been a while since last Ingeezzy’s blog post, deem, almoast 2 weeks. But the good news is that I am back with some new pixels and video clips from roadtrip San Francisco, California - Austin, Texas – San Francisco, California. Around 3900 miles on the road performed by 2 drivers and 1 full time copilot. We were crossing 4 states (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas) to get to Austin. So here is couple pictures from Hollywood where we stopped on the way back. Hollywood boulevard, famous Kodak Theater where Oscar ceremony is held, Superman, Merilin Monroe lookalikes and much more.
Today I went to visit one of the famoust tourist attractions in San Francisco - China Town. A lot of souvenir shops that are packed with made in China textiles and also different funny stuff. Chinese food was very good, weather was sunny and I got some good photo shots. Today I experimented with HDR picture making process and you can see the result right here.
Fleet Week is a American event where trained pilots make some nice airplane tricks in the air. And it’s also about demonstrating American military power. First time in my life (and I hope for the last time) I saw that triangle bomber plane that has been throwing bombs all around the globe (Afganistan, Yugoslavia, Iraq and other hot spots). PEACE
Yesterday we had a picnic in Dolores park together with NOMA students. Beer, chips, hot dogs, nice time.

It’s one of those rainy days. It is cold and rain drops are hitting the window. Deem it’s hard to sit all day in front of my pc and be creative. I took some time to enjoy American TV. A lot of TV channels in here and you always can find something watchable. Only thing I do not like about it is commercials after every 10 min. How can you watch horror movie if there is commercial every 10 minutes. How scary is that?
It might seem that making pictures in sunset is a easy thing, but it’s not! You spend 1 day just to find the place and figure out the perfect time for coming back another day. If you don’t have a car you will have to rely on public transport (2 buses in this case) that not always comes on time. And the most important thing – as it gets darker, it’s gets colder and you can not see buttons on your camera. LOL.
Another day another photo. This time it’s Corona Heights Park. Nice view to the city. Young people chilling on the rocks and drinking beer. Photographers do their thing and some people come here to do yoga moves. Totay Blue Angels were preparing for tomorrows air show, so a lot of noise in the air.
According to wikipedia Twin Peaks two hils are second highest points (281 m) in San Francisco. American people drive there by their cars. I went on foot (check out my dirty shoes) and when I arrived there it started to rain, there was no place to hide. But, Ingeezzy is not made of sugar, so I was stubbornly waiting for rain to stop so I can make a picture!
Here I stand 6:50 am in Dolores park waiting for sun to come up. In the morning rush I forgot to take other photo lens with me so this photo was shoot with 50mm lens and looks quite dramatic.
I grill and take pictures in the same time. It is not easy thing to do, but i do it!
Today I had the most spicy food I have ever eaten in my life. There was a lamb and potatoes on my plate, but all I could feel was 100% chili and tears in my eyes. And on the top of that I had a garlic bread. Basically I was on fire.
I took my Canon 550d with 50mm lens for a walk in Castro.
So I am in San Franciso for some time now. Finaly I went to see on of the symbols of San Francisco, probably the most famous bridge in the world – Golden Gate Bridge.
Latvian theater in San Francisco – how cool is that?

Today, my AGK optical mouse refused to work. What a catastrophe! Thank God I have learned something from MacGyver. I just needed scissors, a knife and a plaster to fix it.
So i took my passport and participated in Latvian parlament elections, straight from San Francisko.

I like this one - yellow Taxi, Cable Car (thats how they call that old tram)
Yerba Buena, Sanfrancisco
This is the place where Henrik left his wallet somewhere on the bench… but there are a good people in this city who found his wallet and gave it back. That’s nice!
16 hours in the air + 2hours standing in line at USA customs + 1 missed flight = Ingeezzy in America
